How to buy FUT coins in FC 27, step by step
From choosing an amount of FC 27 coins to seeing the new balance in your club: what to prepare, what each delivery method asks of you and the slip-ups worth avoiding afterwards.
Coins are what move an Ultimate Team forward: new signings, SBC fodder, the card you've been watching since the promo dropped. Earning them through matches and trading works, just slowly. EA sells FC Points, but those only open packs and never turn into FC coins. Buying FC 27 coins (plenty of players still call them FIFA coins) is the shortcut: you choose an amount, pay once and the coins arrive in your club.
FCCoins is where you compare and choose. Checkout, payment and delivery are handled by our partner Onlyfarms, so the buy button takes you to their secure checkout to finish the order. Below is the whole process in the order it happens.
Before you buy: get your club ready
Nearly every slow order traces back to an account that wasn't ready. Run through this list first and the delivery team has nothing to wait for.
- Transfer market open. New accounts start with it locked. If you can't buy or sell cards yet, follow our guide to unlocking the transfer market first.
- Some coins left over. Listings and bids need a small balance, so don't spend down to zero just before ordering.
- Room on the transfer list. Clear out sold and expired items so there's space to work with.
- A fresh backup code (Comfort Trade). Backup codes live in the security section of your EA account. Each one works once, so pick one you haven't used.

Live rate today: €9.03 per 100K on consoles and €8.27 on PC. Open the calculator to see the total for any amount.
- 1
Set platform and amount
In the order calculator, choose your platform and type anything from 100K to 20M. Coins are charged at a flat rate per coin, so 2M costs exactly twice what 1M does.
- 2
Pay at checkout
The buy button opens checkout at Onlyfarms. Pay by card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, bank transfer or crypto. You're charged in euros; pounds, Australian and Canadian dollars on our pages are estimates, and checkout shows the exact amount.

Pick a delivery method
Comfort Trade needs your EA login and a backup code. Player Auction needs no login, just one card listed at the price you're given. Both are walked through below.
- 4
Get your coins
A Comfort Trade order typically lands in 10–45 minutes, with large orders split into several transfers. The 72-hour guarantee covers every order, and live chat is open 24/7.
Buying FIFA coins for your platform
Order FC 27 coins for the platform your club lives on. PS5 and PS4 share one club, and so do Series X|S and One, so coins bought on one console generation show up on the other. The computer version is a separate market with its own rate. More on each: PlayStation coins, Xbox coins and PC coins.
How Comfort Trade works
Comfort Trade is the hands-off route: the delivery team works inside your club so you don't have to.
- At checkout, enter your EA account email, password and one unused backup code. The code clears EA's login verification without a prompt landing on your phone.
- Sign out of FC 27 everywhere: console, computer, Web App and Companion App. Signing in mid-order ends the team's session and stalls the delivery.
- The team logs in through the Web App and moves the coins across via the transfer market. Big orders go in several smaller transfers.
- Once all your FC 27 coins are in, they log out and the order is marked complete, usually 10–45 minutes after it starts.
- Sign back in, check your balance, then change your EA password.
You don't need to be online or list anything. The cost of that convenience is that someone else holds your login for a short while, which is exactly why the password change matters.
How Player Auction works
Here your password stays with you. Your FC 27 coins reach your club as the sale value of a card you list yourself.
- Choose Player Auction at checkout. You'll be told what to list your card for.
- Pick a tradeable player card from your club and put it on the transfer market at exactly that figure. Check it twice before you confirm.
- The delivery team finds your listing and buys the card. The coins from that sale are now yours to spend.
- For a big order, repeat with another card until the full amount has arrived.
Speed here depends mostly on you: the sooner each card is listed, the sooner it sells. Not sure which card to use? Ask live chat before you list.
Which delivery method should you choose?
Both methods end with the same FC 27 coins in the same club. The difference is what you hand over and how much you do yourself.
| Comfort Trade | Player Auction | |
|---|---|---|
| You share | EA email, password, one backup code | Nothing: your login stays private |
| You do | Stay logged out until it's finished | List a card at the given figure, once per round |
| Usual time | 10–45 minutes | As fast as you list |
| Large orders | Several transfers, nothing extra from you | Several rounds, one listing each |
| Suits | Big amounts, little spare time | Anyone who won't share a password |
Short version: if time matters more, pick the hands-off option; if keeping your login matters more, take the auction route. Our Comfort Trade vs Player Auction guide compares them in depth, and the delivery page covers timings.
How to tell a safe place to buy FUT coins
When you buy FC coins you hand over money and, with some methods, your login. Whoever you buy FIFA coins from, us included, look for these before paying:
- A guarantee with a clear time limit. A vague promise of satisfaction is worth little; a stated window and a way to claim are worth something. Ours runs 72 hours on every order and is set out on the guarantee page.
- Reviews you can trace to orders. A wall of five-star quotes with no names and no dates should make you suspicious. Look for reviews linked to real purchases, and see how we collect ours.
- Payment with buyer protection. Cards and phone wallets keep your bank's dispute process open; sellers who only take gift cards or crypto take that away. Here you can pay by card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, bank transfer or crypto, so the protected options are there if you want them. Details on the payment methods page.
- A chat that answers before you pay. If nobody replies to a simple question beforehand, don't expect a reply when an order goes wrong.
- Honesty about risk. A seller claiming coin buying is completely safe isn't being straight with you. Our own view is on the page is it safe to buy coins.
What FC 27 coins cost, and when they're cheaper
Right now FC 27 coins cost €9.03 per 100K on consoles and €8.27 on PC. That second figure comes from a separate market and is lower today. There are no bulk discounts on FC coins: the rate per coin stays the same whatever the amount.
Coin rates follow the game's calendar. They're usually at their highest around launch, when everyone is building a first squad and few coins exist, and they ease off as the season matures. Big promos stir demand too: when TOTY or a strong batch of SBCs lands, lots of players want coins at once. If you can wait, buying in a quieter week can cost less than buying on promo night.
The live price page tracks today's rates by platform, and the promo calendar shows what's coming up.
Mistakes to avoid after delivery
Getting the coins is half the job. Keeping the account safe afterwards is the other half.
- Logging in too early. If the team is working in your club, wait for the order to be marked complete. Jumping in halfway cuts the delivery off.
- Keeping the old password. Change it the moment the order finishes and generate a new set of backup codes.
- Blowing the lot at once. Spending millions on a handful of cards minutes after delivery is the kind of spike that gets noticed. Spread big purchases over a few days.
- Passing coins on. Moving FC 27 coins to another account, or reselling them straight away, is a pattern EA watches for.
- Not checking the balance. Compare your club's balance with your order before you spend, and tell live chat straight away if anything looks short.
