1. About this policy
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used when you visit fccoins.org, what each one does and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more broadly.
In short: FCCoins sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. The site saves one setting in your browser, the currency you choose to see prices in, and our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a security cookie to protect the site.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. Your browser sends it back with later requests, so the site, or a service it uses, can recognise the browser from one page to the next. Cookies set under the address of the site you're visiting are first-party cookies; those set under another address are third-party cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser, while persistent cookies stay until they expire or you remove them.
Websites can also store information in your browser in other ways. The one that matters here is local storage, a small storage area that your browser keeps for each website. Unlike a cookie, what's in local storage isn't sent to the website with your requests; it stays on your device until you or the site remove it. The rules on cookies apply to local storage and similar technologies as well, which is why this policy covers it too.
3. What fccoins.org uses today
This is the complete list. Cloudflare sets its cookies only when its security features call for them, so you may not see them on every visit.

Nothing else is stored in your browser by fccoins.org. Your browser may keep copies of pages, images and fonts in its cache to load them faster next time; that's normal browser behaviour, not tracking.
4. What we don't use
- No analytics cookies or scripts. We don't track how individual visitors move around the site.
- No advertising cookies. No retargeting, no ad networks and no social media pixels.
- No cross-site tracking. Nothing on fccoins.org follows you to other websites.
Our affiliate programme isn't running yet. If it starts with referral tracking that stores anything in your browser, it will be added to the table above and handled as section 6 describes.
5. Cookies on our partner's checkout
When you press a buy button, you leave fccoins.org for our partner Onlyfarms at onlyfarms.gg, which runs checkout, payment and delivery. Onlyfarms and the payment providers it works with may set their own cookies there, for example to keep checkout working or to help prevent payment fraud. Those cookies are controlled by Onlyfarms, not by us, and are explained in its own cookie or privacy policy. You can manage them through the options on its site and in your browser.
6. Consent
The EU and UK rules on cookies (the ePrivacy rules, which apply in the UK through the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, or PECR) require a website to ask for your consent before it stores or reads information on your device. There are two exceptions: when the storage is needed only to carry the page across the network, and when it's strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for.
Everything in the table falls within those exceptions. The Cloudflare cookies protect the site you're asking to use, and fc-currency stores a choice you made yourself, only so the site can respect it. That's why fccoins.org doesn't show a cookie banner today: there's nothing optional to accept or refuse.
If we ever add something that isn't strictly necessary, such as analytics, advertising or affiliate referral tracking, a consent banner will come first. Optional cookies will stay off until you agree, refusing will be as easy as accepting, and you'll be able to change your choice at any time. If live chat is added and its provider sets cookies, they'll be listed here, with consent asked where the law requires it.
7. How to control and clear cookies and local storage
You can see, block and delete cookies and other site data in your browser's settings. Menu names change between versions, but the options are usually here:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security, then "Third-party cookies" to block, or "Delete browsing data" to clear.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data.
- Safari on Mac: Safari → Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Safari on iPhone and iPad: Settings → Apps → Safari → Advanced → Website Data (on older versions, Settings → Safari → Advanced).
- Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Clear browsing data, or Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
In most browsers you can also click the icon to the left of the address bar while you're on fccoins.org to see and remove what this site has stored.
Clearing cookies and site data for fccoins.org also removes the fc-currency setting, and prices go back to euros, the default. To change the currency, simply pick another one in the currency selector. In a private or incognito window, everything the site stored is deleted when you close the window.
Blocking cookies won't stop fccoins.org from working, but if Cloudflare's security cookies are blocked, you may be asked to complete security checks more often. Blocking cookies on our partner's checkout may stop checkout or payment from working there.
8. Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy whenever what the site stores in your browser changes, for example a new cookie, a new provider or a new feature such as live chat, so that the table always matches the site as it is. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
